We’re fast approaching the midway point of the year, so what does June have in store for us? Welcome to your comprehensive preview of what’s coming up throughout June 2025, including all announced upcoming series and movies, whether they are Netflix Originals or licensed titles, specifically for the United States. 

As always, while this list covers all the new additions, we’re also separately tracking all the departures for June 2025 here. If you want to look even further ahead on the Netflix calendar, we recently published a look at the biggest Netflix Originals coming up over the Summer, and we’re still keeping track of all 2025 releases here.

Note: We typically get word of new releases throughout the month and expect a full list courtesy of Netflix on one of the Wednesdays in the last two weeks of May. We’ll keep this post updated with the latest as and when we get it, though, so keep this post bookmarked.


What’s Coming to Netflix on June 1st

  • Alfred Hitchcock Collection including:
    • Vertigo (1958) – A retired detective with acrophobia is hired to follow a woman who may be possessed by a spirit.
    • Rear Window (1954) – A photographer confined to his apartment spies on neighbors and suspects one of murder.
    • Frenzy (1972) – A serial killer is on the loose in London, and a wrongfully accused man must prove his innocence.
    • The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) – A couple’s vacation turns into a nightmare when their child is kidnapped to silence them.
    • Family Plot (1976) – A phony psychic and her partner get entangled in a complex criminal scheme while searching for a missing heir.
    • The Birds (1963) – A coastal town is mysteriously attacked by flocks of aggressive birds without warning or explanation.
  • Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks (New Seasons) – Animated kids series.
Barbarian New On Netflix

  • Barbarian (2022) – Zach Cregger’s horror thriller about a young woman arrives at her Airbnb late at night ahead of a big interview only to find that it has been mistakenly double-booked and a strange man is already staying there.
  • Bee Movie (2007) – A DreamWorks animated comedy in which Barry B. Benson (voice of Jerry Seinfeld) sues humanity for exploiting bees.
  • Dune (1984) – David Lynch’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi epic, starring Kyle MacLachlan as Paul Atreides on the desert planet Arrakis.
  • Focus (2015) – A slick con-artist comedy directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie as rival grifters who fall for each other.
  • Hitchcock (2012) – A portrait of Alfred Hitchcock during the making of Psycho, focusing on his creative and marital struggles. Starring Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, and Scarlett Johansson.
  • Hop (2011) – A hybrid live-action/CGI comedy where the Easter Bunny’s teenage son (voice of Russell Brand) heads to Hollywood to pursue drumming.
  • MacGruber (2010) – A clueless former operative must stop his nemesis from launching a nuclear attack. Featuring Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, and Val Kilmer.
  • Neighbors (2014) – Comedy directed by Nicholas Stoller, pitting new parents (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) against a rowdy fraternity led by Zac Efron.
  • Now You See Me (2013) – A caper thriller about four illusionists (led by Jesse Eisenberg) who pull off bank heists during their performances.
  • Now You See Me 2 (2016) – The sequel reuniting “The Four Horsemen” under the direction of Jon M. Chu for another globe-trotting magic heist. 
  • Pokémon Classic Series Collection:
    • Pokémon The Series: XY
    • Pokémon The Series: XY: XY: Kalos Quest
    • Pokémon The Series: XY: XYZ
  • Prison Princesses (Season 1) – Japanese drama series. 
  • The American (2010) – A brooding thriller directed by Anton Corbijn in which a retired assassin (George Clooney) hides out in an Italian village for one last mission.
  • The Blues Brothers (1980) – A musical action-comedy directed by John Landis, featuring Jake and Elwood Blues (John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd) on a mission “to get the band back together.”
  • The Devil’s Own (1997) – A tense thriller from Alan J. Pakula about an IRA operative (Brad Pitt) hiding out in New York under the watch of an NYPD officer (Harrison Ford).
  • The Great Outdoors (1988) – A comedy about a family vacation gone awry when city slicker Chet Ripley (John Candy) clashes with his brother-in-law Roman Craig (Dan Aykroyd).
  • The Legend of Zorro (2005) – Martin Campbell’s sequel starring Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones as masked heroes fighting injustice. 
  • The Night Before (2015) – Three best friends search for the ultimate Christmas party during one wild holiday night.
  • The Tale of Despereaux (2008) – Animated feature from directors Sam Fell and Robert Stevenhagen.
  • The Theory of Everything (2014) – A biographical drama directed by James Marsh about Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) and his relationship with Jane Hawking (Felicity Jones).
  • The Town (2010) – Ben Affleck’s crime drama set in Boston, where a bank-robbing crew led by Doug MacRay (Affleck) runs into trouble when one hostage complicates things.
  • U-571 (2000) – A WWII submarine thriller directed by Jonathan Mostow, featuring Matthew McConaughey and Bill Paxton on a mission to capture an Enigma machine. 
  • Us (2019) – A family’s beach vacation turns terrifying when they are confronted by their own deadly doppelgängers. Jordan Peele directs this horror starring Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, and Elisabeth Moss.

  • Sara: Woman in the Shadows (Season 1) Netflix Original – Italian drama based on a famous novel. A suspicious death of a woman’s son pushes a former secret agent back into action, investigating a series of crimes that grow increasingly sinister.

  • Criminal Code (Season 2) Netflix Original – New season of the Brazilian crime action drama series. 
  • Eva Lasting (Season 3) Netflix Original – The latest season of the Colombian romantic drama series.
  • Power Moves with Shaquille O’Neal (Season 1) Netflix Original – Business/sports docu-series. 

What’s Coming to Netflix on June 5th

  • Barracuda Queens (Season 2) Netflix Original – With a 5-year time jump, this Swedish heist drama returns with Lollo back home after studying in Paris and decides to jump into art thievery. 
  • Ginny & Georgia (Season 3) Netflix Original – The newest season of Netflix’s hit drama returns!
  • LEGO: Dreamzzz (Season 2) – New season of the animated series that sees Mateo and the Dream Chasers having to fight against a new tech company.
  • Tires (Season 2) Netflix Original – A bumper 12-episode return for the Shane Gillis-scripted comedy series set in a garage. 
  • Uninvited (2024) – Drama film from the Philippines distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

What’s Coming to Netflix on June 6th

  • Golden SixTONES (Season 1 – New Episodes Weekly) – Japanese variety series hosted by the idol boyband who participate in challenges, quizzes, and contests with a variety of guests. 
  • K.O. (2025) Netflix Original – French action thriller starring Ciryl Gane and Alice Belaïdi. A former fighter having to find the missing son of a former opponent who died in the ring with him.
  • Mercy for None (Limited Series) Netflix Original – Korean crime series about a former gangster having to uncover the truths behind his brother’s strange death.

  • STRAW (2025) Netflix Original – Thriller from director Tyler Perry starring Taraji P. Henson as a struggling single mother pushed to her breaking point.
  • The Survivors (Season 1) Netflix Original – New Australian mystery thriller series. 

What’s Coming to Netflix on June 7th

  • Becoming Led Zeppelin (2025) – Directed by Bernard MacMahon, this documentary retraces the formation and early years of the classic rock band, Led Zeppelin. 
  • Blindspot (Seasons 1-5) – Martin Gero is behind this NBC series starring Jaimie Alexander. 
  • Boys on the Side (1995) – A heartfelt road-trip dramedy directed by Herbert Ross in which three women (Whoopi Goldberg, Mary-Louise Parker, and Drew Barrymore) bond and find renewal while traveling cross-country.
  • Piece by Piece (2024) – Animated LEGO documentary recounting the life and musical career of Pharrell Williams.

  • Get Hard (2015) – Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart star in this prison comedy about a hedge-fund manager who has been sentenced to prison but must learn how to adapt and survive in prison, so he hires an ex-con to toughen him up. 
  • Mashel: Magic and Muscles (Season 2) – Anime series.
  • The Creature Cases (Chapter 5) Netflix Original – Return of the animated kids series.

What’s Coming to Netflix on June 10th

  • Families Like Ours (Limited Series) Netflix Original – A permanent evacuation in Denmark turns its citizens into refugees in this new drama with the plot focusing on a teenage girl who has to make an impossible choice. 
  • Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy (Volume 1 – Episode 1) Netflix Original – Directed by Yemi Bamiro, this first episode of the new Trainwreck anthology docu-series follows the events of the tragic event that saw 10 concert goers dead after Travis Scott appeared on stage. Passion Pictures is producing. 

What’s Coming to Netflix on June 11th

  • Aniela (Season 1) Netflix Original – Polish drama – After her wealthy husband leaves her with nothing, a high-society Warsaw snob is forced to use the only survival skills she has left — her sharp wit.
  • Cheers to Life (2025) Netflix Original – Brazillian drama – A vintage pendant propels Jéssica on a journey through Israel, where family secrets, surprising romance, and a quest for purpose transform her life’s path.
  • Cocaine Air: Smugglers at 30,000FT (Limited Series) Netflix Original – French docu-series about four men who were arrested with 700kg of cocaine, but questions arose about who was behind the big bust.
  • Our Times (2025) Netflix Original – Sci-fi picture from Mexico – follows two scientists from the 1960s who create a time machine to travel to the year 2025. 
  • Titan: The OceanGate Disaster (2025) Netflix Original – Documentary feature film on the disaster that occurred under the sea several years back. 
  • Viva a Vida (2025) – Brazillian Portuguese comedy drama.

  • About Antoine (Season 2) – Drama series. 
  • And The Breadwinner Is… (2024) – Philippine family comedy-drama.

  • Cells at Work! (Season 1) – Live-action Japanese adaptation of the famous anime. 
  • FUBAR (Season 2) Netflix Original – Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in his role as Luke Brenner in this action-spy comedy series that’ll see Carrie-Anne Moss join the cast. 
  • I Love Filipino (Season 1) – Documentary series on the Philippines. 
  • Plane (2023) – An action thriller directed by Jean-François Richet in which pilot Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler) makes an emergency landing in a politically unstable region and must protect his passengers from armed insurgents.
  • The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish (Season 2) – Nickelodeon reboot of the classic cartoon.

  • The Last Witch Hunter (2015) – An action-fantasy thriller directed by Breck Eisner in which an immortal witch hunter (Vin Diesel) must team up with a reluctant witch (Rose Leslie) to thwart the resurrected Witch Queen’s deadly plague.
